The Perk of Sorting Through Storage
I have a past with ghosts. I find them facinating. So you can imagine how excited I am when I found this book! It's been spending time in a box in storage for three years. I used to read this book all of the time!
My husband decided that we were going to clean out the storage room. I went down memory lane and it was pleasant but I was really happy to be done! I did get a bonus of a couple of romance novels and I found one of my favorite books! Real Ghosts, Restless Spirits, and Haunted Places by Brad Steiger. If you love getting the chills and reading about real people and their paranormal experiences, this is a must read! This book is appealing because he put so many tales in one book. In the Table of Contents you will find such chapters as:
Chapter 1. Haunted Houses and Apartments
Chapter 9. Inspirational Messages from the Other Side
Chapter 15. Animal Ghosts-Domesticated and Wild
Chapter 22. Haunted Restaurants, Bars, and Theaters
Chapter 29. Strange Beings That Masquerade as Humans (My personal favorite!)
This book is complete with pictures of ghostly beings, swinging chandalers, ghost animals and more. The best part of this book is that it offers me inspiration not to mention, comfort. Hearing other peoples tales reminds me that when I saw things as a kid, I wasn't crazy. I was just experiencing paranormal activity. Validation is a beautiful thing!
I think that some ghosts need resolution. An amazing story is, The Warrior Wanted His Head Rejoined to His body. I won't give it all away but this story talks about a Native American dig and the haunted that ensued until a shaman figured out what the spirit needed. I highly reccomend this book to everyone interested in ghost and ghost stories!
Do you have a favorite ghost book? Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday weekend!
